We have a large experience in class actions (ações civis públicas). The firm has been known to act before the Brazilian Supreme Court, not only by filing appeals but also by preparing and filing direct actions of unconstitutionality (ADIn), declaratory actions of constitutionality (ADC), claims of non-compliance with a fundamental precept (ADPF) and other matters within the jurisdiction of the Court.
Civil law, commercial law and consumer's protection - Extensive experience in matters of civil liability, contractual disputes, consumer protection, banking law as well as of class actions.
Private international law, international business transactions and international litigation - Counseling in all matters related to private international law, such as recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial and arbitral decisions, rogatory letters to serve and collect evidence abroad, nationality issues, as well as legal assistance in extraditions, among others.
Administrative litigation - Besides the judicial litigation, the firm represents and advises clients in matters involving public institutions, at all three federative levels. We have extensive experience in administrative proceedings before Accounts Courts, the Antitrust and Fair Trade Council (CADE), the Business Rights and Competition Secretariat (SDE), regulatory agencies and other administrative authorities, as well as before state and federal Public Prosecution offices, in matters relating to civil inquiries and other non-judicial proceedings.
